Good luck with the project! That’s all doable, make sure to straighten out the tank first of you’re going to keep having probles with the carbs.

Heh. Searching for specific make/models will usually weed out most of the T&A shots.

Better idea... try searching for hot guys on motorcycles... you know, in the same kind of pinup poses as the photos of women. There aren’t all that many, though some of the ones that do exist are pretty well executed.

The owner said it’s been in his garage for two years. The plates on it expired April 2002...

Also I learned my lesson about old tires when I had a blowout on the F150 last month and discovered that the rear tires had a DOT date code of mid-year 2000.

my day to day gear?

Helemet, riding jacket, gloves, riding pants (those are kevlar lines jeans) and a set of riding boots.

you dont have to go insane with the gear. just dont be stupid.

Hey now, I’m not stupid or reckless. I’ve got quality gear. From the DOT and Snell stickers on my baseball cap to my Kevlar-reinforced Corona sleeveless T and shorts to the specially designed motorcycling sandals I imported from Taiwan, everything I wear is up to the rigorous demands of sportbike riding.

Oh yeah- I had a guy down the street put up an ad for a super beetle that I’d been eyeing for a while as it had just been sitting. The ad stated and he insisted that he bought it last October (just a few months ago) and that it ran when he bought it. Mind you I’ve been driving past this beetle sitting on flat tires in his driveway for atleast 3 years...

Moral of the story you can never trust a seller. They will soon become the dreaded “previous owner” you will curse to the heavens!
